Porträt: I am a native English speaker. I have over 20 years experience in the fields of teaching and tutoring adults and children as well as training animals. I have a special interest in positive reinforcement teaching techniques and I am well versed in structuring learning to meet goals, using differentiation techniques in lessons and creating a supportive environment where students feel engaged and safe. I build a structured class around your interests and needs. I choose topics that you like and I include a differentiated approach to learning by providing visual, listening and speaking elements in every lesson. I am always ready with a plan but if something important comes up in your life, I am happy to work with your needs in the moment. I have a masters degree in behaviour for learning which means that I am well versed in teaching techniques that focus on building new skills based on your current strengths. I use a student led approach but I am not afraid to identify areas of your knowledge that need improvement. I am friendly, encouraging and dedicated to your learning journey.

Hobbys: Hello, my name is Erin. I am originally from Alaska. Currently I live in central Portugal in a traditional Xisto house. Previously I lived and worked as an Art teacher in the UK for 15 years. I love learning new things, art, music, animals, reading, nature, health and fitness and food. I am also passionate about helping learners meet their goals. It is the reason I became a life long teacher.
